About Us

Virginia Hayward Ltd was established by the Hayward Family in 1984 and we remain a family owned and run business. Housed in beautifully adapted traditional farm buildings in Dorset, we are ideally positioned to benefit from the wealth of award winning food producers here in the West Country. We are committed to finding the best of local, national and international produce for inclusion in our gifts and hampers.

Product Development
From January through to August, we spend our time in research and development. Our buyers travel to food and trade fairs in search of exciting new products, and current suppliers visit to show off their latest wares. We visit basket and packaging manufacturers in search of innovative ways to present our gifts. At the moment, we are experimenting with new equipment and products that will make our range more environmentally friendly.

As a company, we are proud to supply food hampers to such well known high street names as Sainsbury’s, Selfridges, John Lewis, Waitrose and Interflora, and we are the accredited packers for the Duchy Originals range. 

With our care and attention to detail, our dedicated buyers and up to the minute market research, you are guaranteed to find a hamper or gift for any occasion, whether it be Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mothers’ Day, Easter or Fathers’ Day

Traditional Values, Modern Approach
The key to our success is in combining traditional values, fresh modern produce and state of the art technology. Our modern contact centre is run by friendly and efficient staff. No order is too large or too small, and you can purchase hampers online, via email, post, phone or fax. Excellent customer service is extremely important to us and we aim to make your buying experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

We consign parcels directly to individuals and all addresses are checked using the latest postcode verification software. All parcels can carry a personal message which is an integral part of the address label, ensuring that the message and parcel will never be separated.

We own 90,000 sq ft of licensed warehousing and we lease an additional 50,000 sq feet, housing up to 125,000 finished hampers at any time and ensuring the quick and efficient despatch of your gifts.

Corporate Customers
One of our specialities is creating and supplying corporate gifts tailored to your requirements. Whether you are looking for incentives, rewards or promotions, we can put together a gift to suit your taste and budget. This can be personalised with your own message. For large corporate orders we can use your own branding and logos in a variety of ways.

Contract Packing
Our heritage as specialist suppliers of mail order hampers and gifts has enabled us to offer contract packing, warehousing and fulfilment services to a range of industry sectors.

Affiliate Marketing
We promote our year round and Christmas hamper ranges through two affiliate schemes at Virginia Hayward, both of which offer fantastic support to affiliates. Both of our schemes offer a basic commission of 10% and some great creatives.
