Decisions, decisions…

So for the first time in decades, the outcome of the General Election is still undecided and the party leaders have some very big decisions to make. Fortunately, choosing a hamper for a friend, colleague or loved one is not quite as difficult, although we might hope that the benefits could be just as long lasting!

How do you choose what type of hamper to get for your recipient though? If you know what kind of foods or drinks they like, then that’s always a good place to start. For example, a wine or whisky lover would be very pleased to receive a beautifully packaged gift from our selection of wines and spirits. Similarly, if your recipient is a chocolate fiend, they’ll love the Chocolate Feast.

A hamper is ideally suited to send to an office or group of people so it can be shared around and enjoyed by everybody.

Whichever hamper or gift you choose, you can rest assured that all the items in it have been carefully selected by our experienced product development team, who spend their time scouring the wealth of food producers, both in the UK and further afield, for sumptuous foodstuffs to fill our hampers with.

Hampering the General Election… (cont…)

The campaigns have now ended and we hope that David Cameron has now been able to get his head down for a good sleep after his final late push for votes. In the meantime though we’ve been happily discussing what we would like in our ultimate ‘Welcome’ hamper if we were picking up the keys to Number 10.

Predictably, we’ve gone from the sublime to the ridiculous in terms of what people would like to see in their personal welcome hamper, but working on the premise that we’d need to try and cram suggestions into our largest 30″ Empty Hamper, we’ve had to rule out some of the larger and more outlandish ideas. A full brass band probably wouldn’t fit…

If you can imagine yourself as PM and would like to let us know what you’d like to see in your personal welcome hamper then use the comments form on the blog, or send us an email here >>.

Hampering the General Election…

With less than 24 hours to go until the polling stations open tomorrow, it can hardly have escaped anyone’s attention that the General Election is imminent. We might see a new Prime Minister on Friday – equally we may not, but if it were YOU collecting the keys to number 10, what would you like to see in a ‘Welcome’ hamper? Use the comments form on the blog, or send us an email here >>.

If you’re stuck for ideas, have a look at our hampers section, where you’ll find plenty of inspiration in red, blue and orange!
