  A classic example of the exciting New World red, this is dense, smoky and packed with flavour. The wine is a deep ruby colour with smoky aromas of violets and blackcurrants, masses of black fruit flavour and earthy, peppery notes. The supple tannins and silky smooth texture are perfect with roast meats.

  Founded in 1824, Los Rosales is Chile's oldest estate. Chapel Vineyard is its most highly prized site high up in the Cornellana Valley where Syrah vines bask in long days of unbroken sunshine. Los Rosales chief winemaker, José Ignacio Cancino, won 8 awards at the International Wine Challenge including the Best wine of Chile Trophy!

  The de Kroes story began when JJ de Kroes bought his first bakery in 1849 following the death of its owner, but it was not until 1892 that their first savoury biscuits were produced.

  The de Kroes family withdrew from running the business but the bakery and its traditions were carried on by faithful workers. In 1976 a fifth generation of the family, Pieter Galle, returned to run the business, transforming it into a modern biscuit producing company. In 1982 the company moved from its traditional home to a modern production facility and in1999 they opened a state of the art production facility in Oosterhout.

  The Walkers story begins over a hundred years ago in 1898, when the twenty-one year old Joseph Walker opened the doors of his own bakery in Torphins with a loan of £50 and the dream of making the finest shortbread in the world.

  This pure creamery butter shortbread is baked in the Highland village of Aberlour to an original family recipe perfected by Joseph Walker in 1898.
