Product Description
This stunning hamper overflows with indulgent treasures. The emphasis is on warmth and richness of taste and colour; so Cairnsmhor Spiced Orange Biscuits can be eaten with Grumpy Mule Fairtrade Coffee, and Undurraga Sparkling wine drunk with Asian Bite nuts. This is a beautiful gift that offers something for everyone, whether for a silent night, or a rambunctious party.
In response to some of our customers who requested all the fine food but no basket, once again we are offering three of our hampers in a Virginia Hayward branded box as well as the traditional basket.

Merlot-Corvina Ponte Pietra 2007
Merlot-Corvina Ponte Pietra 2007 : (close) The 2007 vintage has a lovely, vibrant colour and a ripe, fresh nose. The wine's cherry blossom perfume, characteristic of the great Corvinas from Verona, mingles with a soft, blackberry fruit. Soft and attractive on the palate, it is a great accompaniment to a wide range of pasta and rice dishes, particularly the risotto dishes for which the area is known.

Trebbiano-Garganega Ponte Pietra 2007
Trebbiano-Garganega Ponte Pietra 2007 : (close) This is a fresh, vibrant, easy drinking wine, ideal as an aperitif. It is floral on the nose, with perfumes reminiscent of the almond blossom that characterises the best white wines from this region. The attractive crisp green apple fruit on the palate gives way to a fresh, zingy finish. The vineyards have excellent south east exposure, with soils of volcanic origin.

Undurraga Brut Sparkling Wine

Bouchard
Bouchard: (close) Ghent is the picturesque town lying midway between Ostend and Brussels and since 1986 it has also housed one of Belgium's foremost Chocolate manufacturers: Bouchard L'Escaut.
The two specialties in which Chocolatier Bouchard L'Escaut excels are its famous Neapolitans and its unique range of Pralines. The Neapolitans we provide on behalf of Bouchard L’Escaut are individually wrapped mini-tablets of dark, milk, orange and mint chocolate – ideal with a coffee or simply by themselves as a delicious treat.
The impressive range of Praline chocolates offered by us in our gifts is enough to
tempt and delight every chocolate lover. Under a covering of dark, milk
or white chocolate you can find the most diverse and tantalizing taste
sensations. Each praline is carefully crafted according to a traditional
recipe using the finest natural ingredients and subject to the strongest
quality control. -
Grumpy Mule
Grumpy Mule: (close) With a passion for coffee, Grumpy Mule approaches production from entirely holistic principles, encompassing a way of working and set of values dedicated to reaching a whole new level of customer commitment. Not only that, it’s a company that produces really great coffee!
The coffees are sourced for aroma and flavours far better and more complex than those already on the market – regardless of the cost. These traditionally come from farms, estates and cooperatives where there is a drive to improve quality but never at the expense of the local environment or communities. They beans are then roasted to suit their individual characteristics to ensure the highest standard of freshness through immediate packing.

The Yorkshire Crisp Company
The Yorkshire Crisp Company: (close) We can honestly say that these crisps are truly amazing. Fried in pure sunflower oil and flavoured with completely natural ingredients, the difference in taste is remarkable. The crisps are light, flavoursome and a great favourite with the staff here!
They use locally grown vegetables and no artificial flavourings or colourings. Their main motivation to create these wonderful products was so that they could create a range of crisps with natural ingredients that complement a drink without overpowering it. The company has been running since 2005, consists of only four full-time employees and we find their drums of crisps are particularly good for sharing with friends. The drums are re-sealable to ensure that they stay fresh for up to a week, although we don’t think you’ll get the chance to prove this!
