  Wine produced in the Entre deux Mers district, where many good white wines are made. From 100% Sauvignon Blanc, grown on limestone soils, and vinfied in stainless steel , which keeps the flavours fresh and the wine crisp, it is a light 12% alcohol., ideally suited as an aperitif, with fish, or simply as a delightful drink whilst you relax in your favourite chair.

  This wine produced in the Entre deux Mers region is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon., grown on a clay/limestone soil.. Vilification is traditional and fermentation time depends on the vintage, but is usually 7 to 10 days.

  It has good colour, a bouquet of fruit and showing aromas of blackcurrant, and cherries. The palate is supple with notes of bilberry jam. Will keep for up to 7 years.

  The Cape Diamond Co-Operative is the second largest in South Africa, with the emphasis very much on quality. Produced in the Olifants River vineyards, the most westerly in South Africa, the cooling influences of the river and the ocean provide ideal conditions for growing high quality grapes.

  The white wine, is 100% Chenin Blanc, chosen from slow ripening fruit to obtain fuller flavours, and made in stainless steel to maximise freshness and crispness.

  At 12% alcohol, this is a fruity, crisp wine, with tropical fruit and apple flavours. The finish is fresh and balanced.

  Drink as an aperitif, or with fish or cheese.

  This blend of the grape varieties Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan has produced a full and soft wine, with good fruit flavours and a touch of soft french oak. This is a smooth and easy-drinking red ideal with red meats or cheeses.

  The Cape Diamond Co-Operative is the second largest in South Africa, with the emphasis very much on quality. Produced in the Olifants River vineyards, the most westerly in South Africa, the cooling influences of the river and the ocean provide ideal conditions for growing high quality grapes.

  The Merlot is 100% Merlot, and after fermentation has a short ageing in oak casks, and achieves 14% alcohol.

  A typical Merlot, with berry, cassis, and mint flavours. Soft tannins, and smooth palate make this ideal to drink with Lamb or Chicken.

  This is a ‘Lutte Raisonnee’ estate. Lutte Raisonnee means ‘the reasoned struggle’ and is a movement which attempts to manage disease and pests with a minimum use of chemicals and uses practices for sustainable viticulture. The white wine is produced on clay-limestone soils and is of 100% Sauvignon Blanc. It is crisp, fresh and long with the typical gooseberry bouquet, and long fresh finish with superb balanced acidity. The white wine is made from the 2007 vintage – disappointing for red wines, but absolutely outstanding for white wines. This wine is quite delicious.
