  Grown high in the hills of Chile's Maule Valley, the pure sunshine and cool nights have given this a superb purity and freshness reminiscent of Loire Valley wines. Its grassy, tropical fruit flavours and crisp citrus aromas are well preserved by the screwcap closure. Great as an aperitif.

  Somerset Preserves manufacture Great Taste Award winning preserves, marmalades and lemon curd, using the finest quality ingredients sourced in the UK and abroad.

  Their recent investment in a new facility provides them with a greater flexibility of operation, whilst preserving traditional production methods using open copper boiling pans. Many of their staff have been with them for over 10 years and it is their expertise and knowledge on which the success of the business is based.

  To achieve the plump and delicious taste of the home cooked Raspberry Preserve, they begin with the finest and freshest whole fruit so that it is delicious served on hot buttered toast or used in puddings.

  The Vintage Marmalade has a chunky texture and strong tangy flavour which is enhanced by the addition of brown sugar. It is also delicious when used to glaze baked ham or in desserts.

  We can honestly say that these crisps are truly amazing. Fried in pure sunflower oil and flavoured with completely natural ingredients, the difference in taste is remarkable.  The crisps are light, flavoursome and a great favourite with the staff here!

  They use locally grown vegetables and no artificial flavourings or colourings. Their main motivation to create these wonderful products was so that they could create a range of crisps with natural ingredients that complement a drink without overpowering it. The company has been running since 2005, consists of only four full-time employees and we find their drums of crisps are particularly good for sharing with friends. The drums are re-sealable to ensure that they stay fresh for up to a week, although we don’t think you’ll get the chance to prove this!
