Beaujolais-Villages E. Loron & Fils AC 2007: (close) This wine is produced from the Gamay grape, by one of the most respected producers in the Beaujolais region.. Beaujolais Villages accounts for a quarter of the total production, and must come from the northern part of the Beaujolais region. The wine must have a minimum level of 19% alcohol. Maceration Carbonique, whereby the juice is partly fermented in sealed vats, without pressing the grapes, thus, by carbon dioxide pressure, forcing the yeast through the skins, and each grape ferments with itself. This produces greatly enhanced fruit flavours.Refreshment in a bottle, this wine is delicious to drink with barbecues, or at lunch with sandwiches.
