Imaginet selected to provide new website for Virginia Hayward
Virginia Hayward Ltd, the Dorset based supplier of traditional hampers and gifts are pleased to announce that Imaginet of Cardiff have been chosen to design the new Virginia Hayward Hampers and Gifts website. The new site will offer a complete face lift and a bright new look for the company and the presentation of its range of hampers and gifts.
New features include; a zoom facility on all product images to allow greater visibility of items within a hamper, manufacturer notes, faceted navigation to allow browsing by person, occasion, product and price as well as an express checkout option for quicker transactions.
These user-friendly enhancements have been introduced after a number of customer surveys were undertaken by Virginia Hayward in which users were asked how they could be better served. Improving the customer experience was a key factor highlighted and one which the new design will reflect. These findings were echoed by members of the affiliate network who called for a website with a greater focus on ease of use.
Other more technical enhancements will include a new customer login area where orders can be tracked using consignment numbers, as well as enhanced credit card security and a new voucher system to take advantage of the numerous promotions offered.
The original Virginia Hayward site was unique in its ability to offer multiple products to multiple addresses on multiple dates with multiple messages, and this functionality has been developed further in the new site. For a site that routinely takes large volume orders, the enhanced user friendliness will ensure that customers can complete their transaction in as little time as possible.
