Based in Shaftesbury in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside, we are one of the largest companies in the niche hamper industry despatching over 450,000 hampers during the Christmas period.

Due to our heavily seasonal business, we need lots of extra pairs of hands in the lead up to Christmas and also for a short while afterwards.

Should your initial application be successful, you will be invited to attend our offices to meet the team for an interview and a tour of our facilities relevant to the role you apply for. Interviews are likely to commence around June for our Production team. Interviews for our Customer Contact Centre will take place from mid-July onwards.

Warehouse Based Roles

Warehouse based roles have various start dates from late July/mid-August through until October. Applicants will need to be available until at least Christmas Eve.
It is an essential part of this employment that you are prepared to adopt a flexible approach to the work and be prepared to undertake duties, as and when necessary, in any area to facilitate the smooth running of the business. Bearing in mind the nature of the business, our workload increases dramatically as Christmas approaches, you may be asked to work extra hours, i.e. evenings and weekends. Extra hours would be by mutual agreement but we would expect your co-operation in this respect.

Standard working hours:
8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Weekend hours as requested
Extra hours will be requested during the season

Pay rates:
Competitive rates of pay plus attractive overtime rates are available.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Warehouse assistants are an important part of the team, supporting the bustle of the warehouse during its busiest time. Suits enthusiastic and energetic individuals.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:

  • Receiving in deliveries including checking and counting stock
  • Preparing and issuing of stock to the packing lines
  • Counting and labelling pallets of stock
  • Unloading containers of stock
  • Following good housekeeping practices

Additional duties if required:

  • Occasional driving of company vehicles if qualified and authorised to do so
  • Hamper packing and despatch
  • Assisting in any other area of the business as and when required

WAREHOUSE CLERK

Warehouse Clerks are an important part of the team, supporting the bustle of the warehouse during its busiest time. Suits enthusiastic and energetic individuals.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:

  • Checking off deliveries and completing associated paperwork
  • Inputting data on spread sheets and databases
  • Checking product photography
  • Booking in deliveries
  • Processing stock requests
  • Processing returned hampers
  • Following good housekeeping practices

Additional duties if required:

  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as and when required
  • Hamper packing and despatch
  • Assisting in any other area of the business as and when required

PACKING LINE ASSISTANT

Packing Line Assistant are an important part of the team, supporting the bustle of the warehouse during its busiest time. Suits enthusiastic and energetic individuals.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:

  • Assisting the Line Supervisor in the everyday running of the packing line
  • Keeping a close check on stock required for the line and replenishing as required
  • Opening cases of stock ready for the packers
  • Ensuring that fire exits and walkways are kept clear at all times
  • Following good housekeeping practices

Additional duties if required:

  • Preparation of premises for next day’s work
  • Hamper packing
  • Occasional driving of company vehicles if qualified and authorised to do so
  • Assisting in any other area of the business as and when required

DESPATCH ASSISTANT

Despatch Assistant are crucial to ensure labels for orders are processed correctly to supply to the warehouse.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:

  • Picking and labelling orders for despatch via courier network
  • Picking and building pallets for bulk despatch
  • Checking best before dates on hampers to be despatched
  • Assisting with stocktakes
  • Following good housekeeping practices

Additional duties if required:

  • Assisting with handling of component stock
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as and when required
  • Assisting in any other area of the business as and when required

Office Based Roles

Applicants for the office based roles will need to be available from late August/early September until at least the 8th January 2021.

Contact Centre opening times
From 2nd December: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm
Saturday 10am to 2pm, Sunday 10am to 2pm
Extra hours will be requested during the season
Staff will only be requested to work one weekend day and we endeavour to accommodate which day you would prefer.

CONTACT CENTRE AGENT

Contact Centre Agents are customer facing and suitable for confident individuals.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:

  • Handling sales enquiries
  • Data inputting
  • Processing and checking orders via email, post and over the phone
  • Providing outstanding customer service

Additional duties if required:

  • Assisting with the despatch admin team as and when required
  • Assisting in other areas of the business as and when required

DESPATCH ADMIN ASSISTANT

Despatch Admin Assistants are crucial to ensure labels for orders are processed correctly to supply to the warehouse.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:

  • Producing labels and paperwork for the warehouse despatch team
  • Counting and checking labels
  • Assisting with all administration duties within the despatch department

Additional duties if required:

  • Assisting the Call Centre team with any administration tasks as and when required
  • Assisting in other areas of the business as and when required
