Warehouse Based Roles:
DESPATCH ASSISTANT
Despatch Assistant are crucial to ensure labels for orders are processed correctly to supply to the warehouse.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:
- Picking and labelling orders for despatch via courier network
- Picking and building pallets for bulk despatch
- Checking best before dates on hampers to be despatched
- Assisting with stocktakes
- Following good housekeeping practices
Additional duties if required:
- Assisting with handling of component stock
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as and when required
- Assisting in any other area of the business as and when required
Welcoming lorries into the yard & directing them where they should be going
Office Based Roles
CONTACT CENTRE AGENT
Contact Centre opening times
From 5th December: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm
Saturday 10am to 2pm, Sunday 10am to 2pm
Extra hours will be requested during the season
Staff will only be requested to work one weekend day and we endeavour to accommodate which day you would prefer.
Contact Centre Agents are customer facing and suitable for confident individuals.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:
- Handling sales enquiries
- Data inputting
- Processing and checking orders via email, post and over the phone
- Providing outstanding customer service
Additional duties if required:
- Assisting with the despatch admin team as and when required
- Assisting in other areas of the business as and when required
DESPATCH ADMIN ASSISTANT
Despatch Admin Assistants are crucial to ensure labels for orders are processed correctly to supply to the warehouse.
Primary duties will include some or all of the following:
- Producing labels and paperwork for the warehouse despatch team
- Counting and checking labels
- Assisting with all administration duties within the despatch department
Additional duties if required:
- Assisting the Call Centre team with any administration tasks as and when required
- Assisting in other areas of the business as and when required
Before you apply please note it is essential that you are available to work until at least 24th December, are prepared to adopt a flexible approach to the work and be prepared to undertake duties, as and when necessary, in any area to facilitate the smooth running of the business. Bearing in mind the nature of the business, our workload can often dramatically increase as Christmas approaches, so you may be asked to work extra hours, i.e. evenings and weekends. Extra hours would be by mutual agreement but we would expect your co-operation in this respect.
